Zionsville Community High School welcomes Keegan Lammers as the newest member of the Performing Arts Department as the Director of the ZCHS Orchestra Program.

“We feel very fortunate that Ms. Lammers will be leading the ZCHS Orchestras”, Tim East, Principal at ZCHS, explained.  “She comes highly recommended and has a vision for the program that aligns with ZCHS values.”

“We are very excited to have Ms. Lammers join our team. She is a life-long string player and has many professional orchestra experiences to her credit”, said Aaron Coates, ZCHS Performing Arts Department Chairperson.  “I am excited to see her take our orchestra program to a new level.”

“The ZOinc board is excited to welcome Ms. Lammers aboard.  We enjoyed meeting with her and hearing some new thoughts and ideas for the program.  We look forward to the year ahead and the opportunity to bring fresh ideas to our program.”, said Jeannine Denlinger, ZOinc President.

Ms. Lammers is a 2022 graduate of DePauw University where she was the principal violist of the DePauw Chamber and Opera Orchestras. During her time at DePauw, she was named the “Outstanding Future Educator” by the Indiana Music Educators Association in 2021 and Indiana Association of Colleges for Teacher Education in 2022. After completing her student-teaching experience at Clay Middle School, Ms. Lammers was hired to direct the orchestras at Rutherford B. Hayes High School in Delaware, OH. Her students received unanimous superior ratings at the Ohio Music Education Association State Orchestra event and the Central Ohio String Festival.
