Who: This event intended for students and subject matter experts in the field of intelligence and education who are interested in the state of play in immersive simulation technology in the development of the workforce of today and tomorrow. This area of technology has a critical a role in tending the crisis in recruiting and retention in the Information Age and the “Simulation Century.”
Cost of attending: Register and provide your email. We’ll send a survey to allow you to provide some basic insights into your interests and concerns as you plan on finding real-world results for your education. Upon completion of the survey, we’ll register you for the event.
About the Event: Join us for an afternoon of groundbreaking exploration into the role of simulation in intelligence education and recruitment, followed by a complimentary dinner and an engaging networking reception. This dynamic event brings together experts, students, and recruiters to share insights and opportunities in this innovative field. We will be discussing where immersive simulation technology is going and where it can impact on recruiting and retention in the intelligence community.
What to Expect
Afternoon Parallel Sessions

Simulation Exercises via Tabletop Games – Workshop and tabletop gaming session. Adam Clare (Professor, Game Design, Sheridan College) will be facilitating this session in which participants learn the basic mechanics of serious gaming and sim-exs.

Simulation via Role-Playing – A hands-on experience workshopping the development into a role-playing game scenario of a new graphic novel by Real Spy Comics, showcasing a real-life spy’s story. The actual subject of the first “real spy comic”, Jan Neuman, will attend via Zoom
